Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Documentaries
Also known as "Day-in-the-Life" documentaries, these videos show the damages incurred by a party as a result of an incident. Our ADL documentaries honestly, fairly, objectively and accurately portray how an injured party's daily routine has been altered. We have been trained and certified on how to properly plan, capture, and produce an ADL while preserving the dignity of your client.
Mediation Documentaries / Settlement Brochures
A Mediation Documentary is an effective tool that helps to ensure settlement before a case ever reaches the courtroom. Also known as Settlement Brochures, Mediation Documentaries are used to impress upon opposing counsel the strength of your case. Because a Mediation Documentary will never be seen in court, there are no restrictions on its content. Unlike the ADL, Mediation Documentaries allow an attorney to take full advantage of many different video production techniques. We can utilize professional voice-over talent, script writing, background music, professional actors, scene reenactments, incident reconstructions and animations. We offer High-Definition (HD) equipment and in-house editing in order to make a case for your client that is crystal-clear.

Independent Medical Examinations (IMEs)
We can unobtrusively document IMEs, including neuropsychological evaluations, by using a single video camera in the examination room with all other equipment in a separate room with the videographer. We will not interfere or disrupt the examination at any time since all recordings are made from the separate room.
Will Execution
The properly-documented taping of a will execution ceremony can be used to establish testamentary capacity, testamentary intent, compliance with will formalities, the contents of the will, lack of undue influence, and even the correct interpretation of the will if the video shows the testator explaining the provisions. A video is highly accurate, unlike witnesses whose memories and impressions fade with time. The video improves the ability of the court or jury to evaluate the testator’s condition by preserving valuable nonverbal evidence. The video may also have psychological benefits for both the testator and the survivors. The testator may feel more confident that the intended dispositive plan will take effect and the survivors may gain solace from viewing the testator delivering a final message. We provide a convenient and reliable method of preserving evidence of the will execution ceremony and its important components.
Pre- and Post-Nuptial Agreements
As with will execution ceremonies, a properly-documented video record of prenuptial signings can avoid subsequent claims of duress, fraud, language barrier issues, or misunderstanding.
Courtroom Presentation
Adding visuals to trial presentations can help a jury more easily understand critical evidence. Whether your trial hardware requirements include computers, projectors, screens, Elmos, or LCD monitors, we have the experience and knowledge to assist. We can also help to create a powerful exhibit database and incorporate video, audio and graphics into your courtroom presentation to include 3D animations, accident recreations, timelines, graphs, and flowcharts.
Depositions
At Suncoast Legal Video, we are prompt, professional, and sensitive to the importance of the deposition process. We are trained and certified to operate in accordance with the Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 30(b)(4), which governs the legal video recording of depositions for admission in court. We use professional-grade audio and video equipment and can record to DVD and/or VHS simultaneously as well as to a digital file on a hard drive. Court Reporters can be provided with an audio recording with their choice of an analog audio tape, or a digital format file burned to a disk or loaded onto their laptop. We can also provide duplicates of the deposition recording upon request.
Deposition Synchronization
We offer in-house synchronization of the videotaped deposition with the court reporter's transcript. This can greatly assist in reviewing the deposition and preparing your trial presentation. Our synchronized deposition disks include all of the necessary software to view synchronized transcripts, edit video clips, present the clips in the courtroom and export the video clips directly to case preparation or presentation software. For maximum compatibility and convenience, the DVD can be played in a standard DVD player. The DVD is chaptered by transcript page number so you can find your video fast. The transcript text is optionally shown as subtitles. Insert this same disc into a PC to take advantage of easy-to-use case management tools that integrate with PowerPoint®, LiveNote®, Sanction, Summation and Trial Director. You can view our online Video Introduction to the YesLaw Synchronized Deposition Software, or contact us for a free demonstration disk.
